Tibet Fest is an annual celebration of Tibetan Culture. The past two festivals have raised enough funds to build four greenhouses in rural Tibet to feed school children through the pureland project. The Tibetan Association of Philadelphia will be performing traditional songs and dances (including the beloved YAK DANCE!)throughout the day. At 1pm there will be a free yoga class. And there will be delicious food and beverages for a sliding scale donation. Art, Handicrafts and fairly traded imports will be available for sale.

Food will be available for sliding scale donations. If you offer the suggested donation of $8/ plate you will be donating enough money for 32 school lunches in Tibet! YES, with your one delicious meal you can actually fee people- ITS TRUE! COME! EAT/ GIVE. picnic for a cause...Its going to be fun!
